Intro to Active Monitoring & Data Collection (6 hrs)
(6 Hours) This course introduces active monitoring and provides an overview of data collection methods. It will teach participants new to the monitoring and data collection process how to actively monitor students throughout the instructional process and to analyze data collected in order to better support their students. The course will teach participants some general methods on how to collect data, analyze the data for trends, and regroup students to help better teach mastery of core concepts. At the end of the course participants will build a data collection lesson plan, ready for immediate use in their classroom.
