This course examines the first step in the process of backwards planning design: Writing Learning Objectives. It describes what effective learning objectives look like and how to construct a student facing objective based on your classroom learning standards. This course will allow you to develop objectives that are measurable and better aligned to your assessments and learning activities, to help you streamline your planning and improve your student’s performance. Through structured activities, reflection templates, checklist, resources, and more- you can re-examine your own classroom practices and identify methods for building more targeted objectives that will allow you to better assess your students, better design your lessons, and better improve your student’s progress.
